You will
see something unusual and unique in Ramadan this year in Warung Soto Kauman
Express which is located in Depok, West Java. Normally,
you paid using money after eating but in this outlet you only need to pay what you eat using prayer. This
activity is only valid for breaking hours in the month of Ramadan which began
at 18:00 pm until 18:30 pm. Visitors
can enjoy a set menu and only pay using a prayer written on a piece of paper
that has been provided.
"We provide 50 servings each day consist of soup and rice, royal date palm, aloe vera juice from Herbavera and Aisyah’s dumpling," said the owner of Soto Kauman Express, Ubaidilah at the outlet on Jl Raya Mukhtar, Sawangan, Depok, West Java, Thursday (18/06/2015).
Ubai
says this is the second time they provide free food and exchange it with prayer.
He
hopes this action could provide a blessing for her stall.
"The philosophical foundation is we will get the reward when we feed the breaking. One of granted prayer is a prayer of fasting people, so we get two benefits," he said.
One
prayer written by consumer named Gawari to pay this soup is, "Ya Allah please
makes Soto Kauman Express into a
large and successful business ".
A bowl of soup with a warm sauce is very tempting, especially when we hungry for a day of fasting, plus date palm and aloe vera juice also dumpling as appetizers.
